Biography

Klaus Assmann, CEO of Aldar Hospitality, brings a wealth of experience with over 35 years in the global hospitality industry. His career spans in multiple international locations including London, New York, San Francisco, Hamburg, Manila, Phuket and the UAE in different disciplines including hospitality, asset management and development. He worked with international operators like Nikko Hotels, Park Hyatt, Shangri-La, Jumeirah, Sofitel and Fairmont in the capacity of Director F&B, GM, Cluster GM, VP and SVP. Klaus is responsible for leading Aldar Hospitality currently comprising of 13 Hotels plus 2 under development and 2 asset managed Hotels (totaling to 5000 rooms), 3 Golf Clubs, 3 Beach Clubs and 3 Marinas whilst enhancing the overall performance of the company’s portfolio. In his role he will be optimizing the operating potential and maximizing the value of the assets through a series of activities that span from operational asset management to CAPEX enhancements while creating unique customer experiences. Aldar Hospitality’s portfolio features both managed and self-operated businesses that span from 3* to 5* hotels and resorts. Currently Aldar Hospitality manages and franchises from Hilton, Marriott, Accor, IHG, Radisson, Rotana and Minor.

Biography

Elida is a result-driven, change enabling, commercial director with a strong track record in helping hospitality brands achieve financial success. Elida brings over 20 years of experience from Ritz-Carlton, Emaar and Accor from across Europe and the Middle East. Her vast knowledge and experience of Sales, Revenue Management, Distribution and Marketing, drives strong commercial synergies across disciplines and assets.

Ajaz Wani

Corporate Director of Procurement

Biography

Ajaz brings his breadth of experience in the procurement and supply chain proficiencies specifically targeted within the hospitality & real estate sectors. His extensive procurement and supply chain management experience will be utilised to enhance Aldar Hospitality’s enterprise-wide procurement standards while advancing procurement capabilities and technology enablement.

Katia Azar

Corporate Director of Internal Audit

Biography

Katia is a result-driven Internal Audit professional with vast experience in creating, reorganizing, and transforming audit functions. Holding both Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designations, she functions as an independent and objective body that reviews and evaluates risks, internal controls, and compliance. She is committed to ensuring that Internal Audit activities are considered a value add and incorporate factors such as growth, reputation, environmental and social.

Biography

Eleni is a passionate and driven marketing and communications professional with extensive experience across the Luxury Hospitality and Leisure sectors within the Middle East & Europe. Across a career spanning more than 20 years, Eleni has worked with some of the key players in the industry including Accor and Marriott. Highly experienced at Brand Marketing & Brand Management, PR & Communications, Social & Digital Marketing, Launching New Brands, Re-Launching Existing Brands to Increase Market Share and Portfolio Management & Development.

Fleur Keller

Corporate Director of Human Resources

Biography

Fleur is responsible for leading the People and Culture Practice for Aldar Hospitality, bringing to the team over 20 years of strategic and operational HR experience gained from working in various roles and industries across Europe and the Middle East. Fleur is highly passionate and change enabling HR Leader with a strong track record in culture and transformation projects. Prior to joining Aldar Hospitality, Fleur oversaw the HR Division for a Saudi-led Financial Services and Investments firm with offices in Riyadh and Dubai. Earlier on, and spanning a major part of her professional career, Fleur was VP – Human Resources for Kingdom Hotel Investments, a major global owner and investor in luxury hotel brands and assets. Fleur holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Cultural Mediation from La Sorbonne, Paris and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD).

Deba Mishra is a seasoned finance professional renowned for his strategic acumen and leadership in the financial management. With an illustrious career over 30 years in companies like EMAAR HOSPITALITY, DUBAI HOLDING, TATA STEEL and PwC, Deba has played a pivotal role in driving financial responsibility, sustainable growth and driving financial results while managing complex financial landscapes. With a background rooted in as a Chartered Accountant from India, Deba brings a comprehensive understanding of financial markets and regulatory frameworks to the Organisation.
